President Luis Abinader received the International Police Sports Union (USIP) baton of command from General Mohamed Al-Dhaheri, President of USIP, marking the Dominican Republic’s commitment to hosting the 4th USIP World Police Games.
The ceremonial handover symbolized authority, trust, and the responsibility of delivering a successful edition of the Games.
During the event, Colonel Roenny Cataño presented the nine sports disciplines included in the competition and outlined the organizing committee’s structure to President Abinader, government ministers, and senior military and police officials.
President Abinader expressed his gratitude to USIP for selecting the Dominican Republic as the host country for this major international sporting event.
